Weary Scholarship
In 1989, the Mid-America Weary Scholarship Foundation was founded in honor of leader and entrepreneur Robert K. Weary (1921-2001) for his remarkable achievements in the telecommunications industry.
The Weary Scholarship is designed to help deserving, academically oriented students to further their college education. The scholarship is open to all industry employees, their spouses, and children in the Mid-America Show region.
2025 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS:
The Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association (MACTA) has named two recipients of the 2025 Weary Scholarship. Reagan Allinder (Leverage Broadband Strategies) and Tiffany Batchelor (Ritter Communications) each received a $3,000 scholarship.
